OK!!!!! Can we start now......
 Tai Po Man Mo Temple

The Man Mo Temple (文武廟)  is a temple for the worship of the civil or literature god Man Tai (文帝) / Man Cheong (文昌) and the martial god Mo Tai (武帝) / Kwan Tai (關帝). It was built about 100 years ago by the Tsat Yeuk Community of Tai Po to mark the founding of Tai Wo Shi (太和市) (Tai Wo Market Town) which is now commonly known as Tai Po Market.
Full restoration of the temple was undertaken by the Tai Po Tsat Yeuk Rural Committee in 1985 with technical advice and a subsidy from the Government.

The two gods were popularly patronized by scholars and students seeking progress in their study or ranking in the civil examinations in the Ming and Qing dynasties.

There have many incense........

Each incese may be different!!!

The Man Mo Temple has been listed as a declared monument of Hong Kong.
Incense (Latin: incendere, "to burn") is composed of aromatic biotic materials, which release fragrant smoke when burned, and it is used in religious ceremonies, ritual purification, aromatherapy, meditation, for creating a mood, masking bad odours, and in medicine. The use of incense may have originated in Ancient Egypt, where the gums and resins of aromatic trees were imported from the Arabian and Somali coasts to be used in religious ceremonies.

For visitors going to Tai Po Man Mo Temple, you may take the MTR to Tai Wo Station or by bus 72X form Mong Kok (Park Avenue)  to Tai Po Central.
